What I fight to possess runs at faster speeds
Than I can progress, I’m gasping with need
This fire is burning down my beliefs
And with no salvation, it’s painfully brief
With no time on the clock left to think
I’m jumping back and forth from the brink
These lines are thin and I’m falling asleep
One mistake and it’s back to the deep
The words are welling up inside
So much I didn’t say…
To our memories I say goodbye
Like smoke, I blow away
by Francis William Bourdillon
The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying of the sun.
The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one;
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.
My favorite poem
"Swear I’mma, swear I’mma do it like
Like I never had it at all"
Like I never had it at all"
